Depending on your skills, you may qualify for a Student Loan Forgiveness program. I know for a fact that nurses or teachers who work in certain underserved areas can get up to 80% of their loans wiped out. I don't know your skills set, but i suggest you Google "student loan forgiveness" and go from there. Good luck!

Hi, my name is Lily. I'm writing to ask for any assistance you can provide....you see I have over $82,000 in student loan debt and I'm currently sending in a monthly payment of $300 but I realize that it's not even making a dent in paying off the debt. The student loan company is threatening to garnish my wages if they don't collect more than my $300 but I am unable to send more than that because I have a 7-month-old baby to care for, other bills to pay, and my employer is on a budget freeze and will not be giving me a raise anytime in the near future. If my wages are garnished then I don't know what I'll do to survive but my biggest concern is for my baby. Any donation, however small, you can provide would be most appreciated and taken with sincere gratitude. Thank you for your time ~ Lily
